Public attitudes in Wales

Informing and shaping the future

ADRC Wales has developed a public opinion poll. The purpose of the study is to gauge the general public's opinion about the use of anonymised data for medical research.

The poll has been initiated to help understand the Welsh population’s general understanding and views around data collection, and the subsequent use of data in anonymous form to benefit the population in areas such as health, wellbeing and policy.

Public participation in this study is entirely voluntary.

The data collected from the poll will help inform and shape the future of the public engagement strategies for ADRC Wales, making sure their strategies for data use reflect current public feelings about data research.
